Sozopol, at the beginning named Apollonia is the oldest city on the Black Sea (founded in 610 BC). Surrounded by sea on three sides, located on a small piece of land Sozopol brings together natural beauty and romantic antiquity..

At the beginning of each fall Sozopol welcomed the participants in the annual festival of arts "Apolonia".
